Beautiful glassy transparent blue prismatic terminated crystals of aquamarine forming a 4.3 x 3.4 x 2.2 cm cluster. Very slight and minor chipping is present. Completely crystallized all around 360 degrees. The color is a very pretty deep blue; the crystal faces glassy like mirrors. Outstanding aquamarine crystal grouping for Vietnam. This specimen was figured in The Mineralogical Record, January/February, 1999. An 8.6 x 6.2 x 3.4 cm matrix, the top covered by brilliant beautiful transparent glassy green cubic crystals of fluorite to 1.4 cm on edge. Very clean and free of chipping and damage. A 25.5 x 20.5 x 5.0 cm matrix, the top completely covered by lustrous gemmy transparent purple glassy crystals of fluorite to 1.2 cm in size. Many of the fluorite crystals exhibit penetration twinning. Scattered over these fluorite crystals are sharp lead-gray crystals of galena to 3.2 cm in size. Overall in excellent condition - very clean and free of damage. Better in person than as seen in the photographs. A choice large cabinet piece from this closed locality. Highly fluorescent under UV light. Very aesthetic example for one of these neat "green quartz" specimens! Terminated green lustrous crystals of quartz, green due to inclusions of hedenbergite, measuring to 6.5 cm in length are coming aesthetically off a matrix rich in crystallized andradite. A handsome combination cabinet piece from this prolific Colorado locality. The specimen consists of blocky terminated crystals of microcline to 3.5 cm in size forming a matrix for translucent semi-lustrous prismatic terminated smoky quartz crystals, these measuring to 6.9 cm in length. Only with a 10x loupe can I find very tiny chipping on two of the quartz terminations. To my naked eye this is damage-free and the quality is very high. Measures 11.0 x 8.0 x 6.4 cm in size overall. Completely crystallized all around 360 degrees.
